Based on a sub character in my novel Pantheon this series of illustrated short stories is outlined as a collaborative effort with artist Daniel Southerland. This series focuses on Ika, a seventeen year old Valkyrie. In the world of Gaia Valkyrie is both the term for a sub race of winged humanoids called Seraphim in addition to those charged by the Nordic gods to gather spirit warriors for the imminent end of the world, Ragnarök. Currently training to find fallen heroes and return their souls to one of the several Viking halls of the dead and become a professional Valkyrie, Ika searches for her lost brother in hopes of securing him the afterlife he deserves.
Much like the unfinished product "Ika's Legacy" is also currently a working title.
